Upcoming Events

Over the past year, we have hosted Breaking Grounds Poetry, held painting and pottery workshops, played board games and offered a supportive environment for youth to grab a snack and talk with friends after school. And we plan to continue doing those things and more!

Please complete the form to grant permission for your child to participate in Christmas Caroling. Please note that every child must have a signed form in order to participate and the drop-in center will otherwise be closed on Thursday, December 18th. 

​Youth can be picked up at McDonald's between 4:45 and 5:00 PM after we conclude caroling.

  • Please have your student dress accordingly depending on the predicted weather.

  • If students would like to bring money to purchase food at McDonald’s, they are welcome to do so.

  • The ratio of chaperones to students will be sufficient to enable safe crossing of streets, etc.

Do you grant pemission for your child to be in photos posted on the social media and/or websites of EMDIC and the facilities outlined on the permission form, so long as no child is identified by name?

By signing this form, you are acknowledging that youth MUST be dressed appropriately for the weather as we will be walking, and accept that youth must be picked up from McDonald's between 4:45 and 5:00 PM on this date.
