As a community endeavor, we rely on adults in the community to help in a variety of ways.
From hanging out with the youth on one of our event nights, to helping with fundraising or administrative tasks, to being a member of our Board of Directors—we have a spot for you. All volunteers are required to complete training and complete all required background checks.

How to Volunteer?
Interested in Volunteering with us? Then, you’re in the right place! Below is a little bit more information on what the process looks like and what your next steps are!
In summary, the process of the Endless Mountains Drop-In Center Volunteer Vetting and Training will will proceed sequentially as follows:

A prospective volunteer will fill out the forms below.

EMDIC will contact the references listed in the completed Application Form. Upon receiving satisfactory references, EMDIC will prepare for training with the “Prospective Volunteer”

Volunteer will complete an interview with the Executive Director and 1 Board Member.

The Prospective Volunteer will successfully complete Orientation training in an online or in person setting.
The Prospective Volunteer will successfully complete the following training sessions, online or
in-person, in no required order:

De-escalation Training
-
Mental Health First Aid Training
-
Boundaries Training
-
Reporting Protocols
-
Confidentiality Training
-
Supervision and Support
-
Upon successful and satisfactory completion of this training with the board or official delegated party of the Board, the Prospective Volunteer will now be considered a Certified Volunteer!!

This training will take roughly 6-7 hours and can be done over a number of meetings.
