What To Expect
What to expect when you come to one of our events?
Well, first of all –FUN! We are planning some great events to give youth a place to set aside the challenges of school and enjoy themselves. Second, we have authentic and supportive adults (who have gone through extensive vetting and training), who are committed to helping all who walk in the door with a sense of welcome and calm. And finally, when you walk in the door, you will be considered part of the community.

How Does the Drop-In Center Work?
Transportation: On Tuesdays and Thursdays, an SWCT van parks in the Triton parking lot near the intermediate center and waits for students who are going to the drop-in center. If youth and their families choose to use this mode of transportation from a location near the school to the center, then they will be taken to the center. This is only offered directly after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please still make arrangements for how your child will leave the center.

Sign In & Out: When youth arrive at the center, they will sign in and note the time they arrived. When they leave, they will write down the time that they left the building. Please note that as this is a drop-in center, youth may sign themselves out and leave at any time. Once youth sign out and leave the premises, they are no longer considered under the supervision of drop-in center adults. If you have any concerns, please discuss this with your child.

Activities: Unless otherwise specified as a specific activity or event going on at the drop-in center, youth are able to choose to do any of the many activities we have available. We have plenty of card and board games, outdoor sports equipment, books, art supplies, puzzles, and other activities. We also have outlets and extra phone chargers, a Wii, access to WiFi, a TV with a DVD player, and a karaoke machine. Snacks and drinks, as well as nonperishable food items are also availablr for youth.
